It’s no secret that Prince William and Kate Middleton have built a close-knit family over the years.
But their three children — Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis — appear to share an even stronger bond than the cameras usually reveal.
In fact, the youngest of the three often seeks advice from his older siblings, and according to a lip reader, that’s exactly what happened at Saturday’s Trooping the Colour ceremony.
As the Prince and Princess of Wales arrived to for the celebration over the weekend, loud cheers erupted from the crowds when George, 11, Charlotte, 10, and Louis, 7, were spotted beaming in the carriage along the Mall.
At one point, George and his younger brother were seen smiling during a deep conversation amongst themselves when Louis sought his brother’s counsel on something.
“Should I wave?” Louis asked his older brother, a professional reader claimed to the Sun.
George then turned to Louis and said, “It’s up to you, I can’t believe how sunny it is.”
In a sweet brotherly moment, Louis then told his big brother, “Let’s do it together!”
The pair then both sweetly waved to the crowd in unison, while Charlotte joined her mom in waving at the crowd lining the other side of the road.
Later on in the day, the royals all gathered on the balcony of Buckingham Palace for their annual smile-and-wave moment during the Royal Air Force flypast.
At one point, the Princess of Wales, 43, had a firm command for Louis during King Charles’ official birthday celebrations.
Although Louis was mostly kept in check by his siblings throughout the ceremony, Princess Catherine did instruct Louis to stand at attention for the national anthem.
The mom of three said, “National anthem. Louis, stand,” lip reader Jeremy Freeman told the Mirror.
Louis immediately straightened his posture and turned his attention to the anthem.
In addition to his parents and siblings, Louis was joined by the king, 76, and Queen Camilla, 77, on the balcony of Buckingham Palace for the end of the event.
This year’s event was a defining moment for King Charles as he showed up despite dealing with ongoing health issues.
His Majesty sent a message of unity by attending his celebration and standing in front of the British public while still undergoing cancer treatment after revealing his diagnosis in February 2024.
